HOW TO APPLY:
Substrate: There must be no dirt, oil, grease, curing chemicals, form release agents, or loose or chipped plaster or paint on the surface before installing Ceramic or vitrified tiles. The surfaces should be flat and accurate within for maximum efficiency: Trim: 3mm in 2.5m Walls Subfloors: 1.5 mm per 1 m
Surface Preparation:
- To ensure proper strength before applying tile glue to attach the tile, we must wait at least 7 days after applying a plaster/leveling mortar bed to install the tile.
- All contaminants, such as dust, dirt, muck, debris, oil, grease, curing applicants, loose or cracked plaster, etc., must be removed from the Substrate
- Thinset adhesive should be applied when the Wall has been thoroughly moist. In general, it needs to be slightly damp.
- Dust and coatings on the reverse of the tile need to be removed.
Mixing & Proportion:
- The products should be thoroughly mixed before use, either by hand or, if an electric drill mixer is available, at a low speed of less than 300 revolutions per minute (RPM). Mix the Tile on Tile powder with clean, drinkable water until it forms a creamy consistency, using a clean container each time.
- Care must be taken not to overmix. Wait 5-10 minutes for the mixture to "slake," then stir again before applying. Only make as much glue as you will need right away.
- The recommended ratio for 1 Bag of Tile on Tile is 5-6 liters of water. To achieve the desired consistency, add more or less liquid.

Installation:
- Before applying the glue, make sure the area is damp and then wipe away any extra water. To prevent the adhesive from drying up and flaking off too soon, the region should be shaded from sunshine. Apply the glue with the trowel's flat side and a scraping motion to ensure a good bond with the surface below. The notch in the trowel's edge is then used to spread even more mortar.
- In addition to trowelling the adhesive over the area that will be tiled, some glue should be put onto the reverse of the tile before installation. Find the right notched trowel for the job: For thin tiles up to 300 x 300 mm (1'x1'), a 6 mm x 6 mm square notched trowel will yield a 3 mm finished thickness.
- With a square notched trowel measuring 6mm x 9mm, back butter the tiles with the same adhesive to a thickness of 1-1.5mm to produce a total thickness of 6mm when laying C. large porcelain tiles up to Tile on Tile mm (2'X2') with ribs.
- The tile must be completely bedded in the mortar or glue with 100% Coverage, therefore keep that in mind at all times. Dust and debris should be removed from the back of tiles (particularly porcelain tiles) with a damp sponge. Avoid becoming completely submerged. If any glue leaks out or is otherwise unwelcome on the stone's surface, simply wipe it off with a damp cloth or sponge while it's still in a safe state.
