Superb Damp Proofer
Quantities Available: 1, 4, 10, and 20 liters.
Coverage: 10–12 square feet per liter on flat surfaces; 20–25 square feet per liter on vertical surfaces.
The application procedure for Horizontal areas :
- Remove any dirt, grime, or oil from the area and give it a good cleaning. Intense wire brushing or a high-pressure water jet are suggested methods of cleaning.
- A tiny hammer should be used to test the stability of the substrate. Crack Seal powder should be applied to all cracks and damaged areas up to 3 mm in width.
- Use Platinum Damp Proofer (diluted with water in a 3:1 ratio) as a self-priming coat.
- Use Platinum Damp Proofer in two perpendicular applications without water. Cloth repair strips should be used on seams and corners if necessary. Get the system's coverage up to 10 square feet per liter under pressure.
- Between coats, give it at least four to six hours to dry.
Superb Damp Proofer is suggested for use in these areas :
- Any external masonry that might potentially be damaged by water.
- Vertical walls, parapets, sunshades, and roofs/terraces of a building.
- Existing IPS, solid brick-bat coba, or cementitious waterproofing can all benefit from the addition of Damp Proof.
Precautions :
- Superb Damp Proofer should not be used in the event of rain or extremely low temperatures.
- Puncturing the membrane can be a painful and expensive mistake to make.
- Apply Superb Damp Proofer at least 6 inches into the drain pipe for maximum effectiveness.
- Applying parapet to parapet around the entire structure is the most effective method.
