SUPERB-LASTICK
SUPERB-LASTICK is a high-performance, two-component reactive polyurethane adhesive, meticulously designed for the installation of ceramic tiles, vitrified tiles, metal tiles, glass tiles,
agglomerates, glass mosaic tiles, and natural stones. Its advanced formulation ensures exceptional adhesion and flexibility, making it ideal for use on difficult substrates such as glass,
rubber, wood, and metal, as well as highly expandable, deformable, absorbent, and non-absorbent surfaces.

Applications:

SUITABLE SUBSTRATES:
- Cement mortar beds, plaster, and cement terrazzo.
- Metal floors, walls, and engineered stones.
- Tile, stone, marbles, and cement backer boards*.
- Wood, plywood*, and gypsum boards*.
- Epoxy or PU resin-based substrates.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Ensure surfaces are between 4°C and 35°C, structurally sound, clean, and free from contaminants like dirt, oil, or loose paint. Substrates should be stable, compact, crack-free, cured, and dry. Smooth uneven areas and follow TCA and ANSI guidelines for expansion joints.
MIXING:
- For SUPERB-LASTICK, mix parts A and B with a 1:4 ratio using a low-speed mixer until smooth. Only mix enough adhesive for 1-hour usage at 25°C. Store packs at around 25°C before use.
APPLICATION
- Tile/Stone: Apply adhesive with a trowel, ensuring full bedding. Use a mallet to set tiles and periodically check for coverage.
- Glass Mosaic Tiles: Apply adhesive with a notched trowel for a 1.5-2mm bed thickness. Align tiles for uniform joints and clean excess adhesive before it hardens.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Use SUPERB Cement or Epoxy Grouts along with Polymer liquids or silicone sealants for joint filling, especially on external walls/floors to prevent de-bonding.
- Avoid direct tile installation over expansion joints; they must continue through to the top surface.
GROUTING
- Start grouting 24 hours after setting. Use SUPERB sanded/unsanded grout or SUPERB Epoxy Grouts for stain resistance
COVERAGE:
- 15 to 17 sq.ft per 8 kgs with 1/4" x 1/4" (6mm x 6mm) square notch trowel for a bed of 3mm. Coverage will vary depending on trowel notch size, type and size of tile and substrate smoothness and evenness.
